“I joined Collective Purchasing
in December 2005 and have been impressed by the
commitment of the team here. Everyone works on a daily basis to ensure
that our
customers benefit from the huge savings that are available by utilising our experience
and vast buying power.
My role, as head of the Sales Team, is to focus on outstanding customer service
and new business.
I am also involved in making sure we are raising our profile with more businesses
and introducing new suppliers into our extensive portfolio to ensure we can offer
the highest quality products across a broad spectrum of suppliers. This
means that we are able to compare and continually check our negotiated deals
to give our members the best prices available.
One of our aims in 2006 is to become an outsource buying department for many
of our customers, giving our customers more time to concentrate on their core
duties and leave the buying to us. Our customers will be able to discuss
new products if they wish with suppliers and then ask us to negotiate deals on
their behalf.
We are also at the start of a “Wish List” project which will enable
us to collectively purchase quantities of Furniture & Equipment for several
customers at a time giving us further potential to negotiate on each deal.
I really enjoy my days here and I am pleased to be working in such a customer
